Diamond
The goal of this project is to develop and demonstrate algorithms that leverage data on the web following the Linked Data principles and make it much easier to treat multiple web sites and their underlying databases as a single unified database. Diamond is a distributed query execution environment for processing SPARQL queries over the web of Linked Data.
Ontology Matching
Ontology mapping is a crucial intermediate step for any data integration system. This project focuses on using machine learning techniques to automatically generate ontology mappings. The most important characteristics is that we try to generate mapping which can be easily used for further processing in data integration, such as query reformulation.
